I have seventy feet width on my property line. I would like to know if the black bamboo is good for screening privacy (really dense) and how many plants would I need to use for spacing?

Also, should I be bringing in the black bamboo for the winter? We live in #7 zone in Delaware.

I bought black bamboo and put it in a container in the courtyard of our office building. It has yellowed very badly and I'm not sure if it is dying or just turning fall colors. I also am not sure if it is to be kept fairly dry or if it likes water?

I just bought some black bamboo for our interior courtyard here at the University of Delaware and I put it in a container with about 2/3 top soil and 1/3 potting soil, as suggested by a local garden store. Will it truly grow to be a tall plant?
