We live in zone 6-7. Is the frost proof gardenia suitable for our area and if so can we plant it now (Early November)?

My first thought is to not plant now. But tell me what state exactly we are talking about. Planting any flowering shrub at the beginning of winter is usually not a good idea as that is the time we should be putting them in slumber mode. If you haven't purchased the plant I would wait until spring. Just a note....when you do plant be sure your gardenia will have lots of nice sun, you will be more & better blooms.
