I live in the deep south. I planted about ten, six' tall ligustrums last spring to try and produce a privacy hedge. They became badly infected with leaf spot fungus. I've sprayed them with fungucide, cleaned out all the mulsh and have continued to spray and pick up the continuing falling leaves but they just keep getting worse. Am frustrated with my continuing efforts and am ready to cut them back of all leaves and let them start over again. Does anyone have any advice for me?
